Founder and principal Robert Swirsky brings 26 years of relevant industry experience to Theme Park Photo, LLC. His unique mix of software development for leading computing and digital imaging companies, combined with experience at Walt Disney Imagineering R&D, make him uniquely qualified to develop, analyze, and deploy solutions for the themed entertainment industry.
Robert Swirsky has been involved with digital imaging systems since the early 1980s, starting with air traffic control display systems for Eaton Airborne Instruments Lab, pre-press automation for Chemco-Konica, and automated test systems for early Symbol Technology laser barcode scanners.
Mr. Swirsky joined Olivitti's Silicon Valley Advanced Technology Center in the late 80s, where he helped develop the first multimedia PCs, equipped to handle video and audio playback.
In 1990, Mr. Swirsky joined Adobe Systems where he contributed to PostScript development for high-end printers and raster-image processors (RIP) for professional phototypesetting equipment. When Adobe formed its Application Products Division to build software applications for desktop computers he became a member of the Adobe Photoshop Team, contributing to three major releases of Adobe Photoshop.
In 1999, Swirsky joined Walt Disney Imagineering, R&D, as Director, Creative technology.
Mr. Swirsky founded Theme Park Photo, LLC in 2005 in order to address the growing need for high-quality photographic systems in the entertainment, hospitality, and motion picture industry.
